Yes, absolutely! Birth support/partners are encouraged to attend the class as well. The cost is per couple – you do not need to book twice.

We understand that pregnancy and life can be unpredictable, and sometimes plans need to change. Cancellations for our workshops are accepted up to 28 days prior to the scheduled start date, with a $50 administration fee applied to cover processing costs.
 
If your cancellation request falls within 28 days of the workshop, we’re not able to offer a refund as places are limited and arrangements are made in advance. That said, as midwives, we completely understand how quickly circumstances can shift during this time. If this happens, please reach out to us as soon as you can – we’ll always do our very best to support you by rescheduling your booking to another workshop (subject to availability) or finding an alternative that works for you.

A TENS machine (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) is a popular, drug-free option for pain relief during labour. Small pads are placed on the lower back, where the machine sends gentle electrical impulses that help block pain signals and stimulate endorphins – your body’s natural pain relief.

This provider is a reliable company and, in our opinion, their TENS machines are among the best options for use during labour. It’s also worth checking with your private health fund, as some funds may contribute to or cover the rental cost.

We require a minimum of 72 hours’ notice for all appointment cancellations. If an appointment is cancelled within the 72-hour window, the full service fee will be charged. Please note that a 1.5% deduction will be applied to account for the original booking fee.
