Continuity of Care with an Endorsed Midwife

Through one-on-one appointments and birth education, Lucy offers a calm, consistent presence to guide you through pregnancy, birth, and the early weeks at home – so you feel supported, informed, and truly cared for.

A Note From Lucy - Your Midwife

Pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period are some of the most vulnerable and transformative times in your life. The right support can make all the difference – not just in how your birth unfolds, but in how you feel throughout the entire journey.

As a practising midwife, I witness birth most days. I see just how unpredictable it can be – and how much it matters that you feel supported, heard, and safe in the process.

While we all hope for the birth we desire, birth doesn’t always go to plan. That’s why continuity and consistency of information are essential. When you’re guided by someone you trust – someone who understands the system and takes the time to get to know you – you’re far more likely to feel confident, connected, and calm, no matter how things unfold.

We want you to feel empowered, not overwhelmed. Prepared, but flexible. Supported, but in control.

The Power of Preparation and Mindset

A positive mindset makes a huge difference. When you feel informed and supported, you’re more likely to enjoy your pregnancy, connect with your partner and baby, and have open, honest conversations with your care provider.

But how do you even know what  to ask?

That’s where I come in.

I don’t just teach you what’s textbook – I show you what birth really looks like, what can help it unfold more smoothly, and how to prepare emotionally and practically for the unpredictability of it all. You’ll walk away with the knowledge, tools, and questions that help you work with  your care provider, so you can make confident decisions that align with your values.

Real Midwifery Support

If you’ve chosen a private obstetrician, you may find that midwifery input is limited during your pregnancy. Continuity of care with a midwife can complement your obstetric care by providing female-led support, consistent information, and education – helping you feel even more guided and confident throughout your journey.

Continuity appointments with me create a bridge between private obstetric care and midwifery support.

With Medicare rebates available for every appointment, I provide care across pregnancy, birth planning, and the postnatal period – ensuring you feel heard, respected, and supported. My approach is never rushed; I take the time to listen, create space for your concerns, and offer both emotional and clinical guidance.

Between appointments, I also offer telephone support, so you always have a trusted midwife to call on when questions or concerns arise.

This is care from someone who genuinely cares – someone who believes that safety is paramount, but so is  how you’re made to feel during your experience.
